Laranjal is considered one of the most beautiful and charming golf courses in the Algarve. Opened in 2009 it was quickly recognized and won the Best Golf Course at the 2011 Portuguese Travel Awards.

Located in the picturesque Ludo Valley, just 2km east of the resort, this par-72 championship course was an orange grove before. Today it has stunning fairways and perfectly defined greens, all set around 5 lakes, umbrella pines, cork oaks and of course the orange trees that gave the course its name.

6,480 meters long the course is a real challenge for players of all levels, demanding accuracy and precision. The gently undulating terrain has been designed to offer a top class golfing experience, with every hole carefully crafted to test players while offering stunning views.

Laranjal has a varied mix of holes, 5 par 5’s, 8 par 4’s and 5 par 3’s each one different. The fairways are sown with Bermuda grass and the greens with the high quality Penn A4, so you will have top class putting all year round.
