Golf Courses
La Cala Resort is an outstanding Golf Resort located between the mountains and the sea. It is in Mijas, Costa del Sol, Andalucia and it is only 20 minutes from Marbella.
Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Senior, Marbella Golf Country Club is just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Marbella.
In 2001 Santa Clara Golf Marbella starts its’ activity, a 18 hole golf course, par 71 designed by Enrique Canales Busquets.
Son Quint’s open layout is perfect for an adventurous play style, offering fun for both novices and seasoned players. Highlights include the stunning views of Palma from holes 8 and 17, and the challenging PAR 3 at hole 12 with its picturesque lakeside fairway.
Known as one of the Balearic Islands’ most picturesque courses, it offers players and spectators an unforgettable experience. The course has earned the Golden Flag from 59Club for six years in a row, signifying its superior service and player experience.
Son Vida Golf, skillfully designed with fairways adjacent to the Son Vida housing estate, demands strategic gameplay. Its remarkable par 5 final hole, featuring a water hazard, entices daring golfers. Notably, it has hosted the European Tour twice, in 1990 and 1994.
Designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones Sr., Los Olivos stands out from its sibling course, Los Lagos, with its abundant trees, compact size, and fewer water hazards. Characterised by smaller, undulating greens that are well-guarded, Los Olivos offers a different challenge.
Los Lagos Golf Course, known for its gentle slopes and expansive fairways with minimal forest tree obstacles, offers a unique challenge with numerous bunkers and nine lakes. These lakes, integral to the course’s character, eagerly await any stray ball. The course features large, subtly undulating greens and versatile tees that adjust the difficulty level to suit any player. This makes Lagos a favourite for all handicaps and one of the most popular commercial courses in Costa del Sol.
The Old Course at The San Roque Club, a site of rich golfing history, has been a prestigious venue, hosting 15 European Tour Schools consecutively from 1993 to 2007 and the Spanish Open in 2005. It’s a course where many golfing greats began their journey to major championship triumphs.
Crafted by Perry Dye, son of the legendary Pete Dye, in collaboration with Severiano Ballesteros, The New Course at The San Roque Club is both stunning and challenging. It tests every aspect of a player’s game while offering breathtaking mountain and ocean views, ensuring a memorable golfing experience.
Nestled in the Costa del Sol and just 20 minutes from Málaga Airport, Golf Torrequebrada, designed by José “Pepe” Gancedo, known as “the Picasso of Golf,” offers an enjoyable 18-hole course suitable for all handicaps. Opened in 1976, this course is a delightful challenge set between the sea and mountains.
